Imara’s Psychological Services – Payment Terms
Psychologist’s responsibilities: To be available at the agreed time. To start and end
on time. To offer a quiet and appropriate, undisturbed space. To maintain safe,
professional boundaries. To regard all contact and information as confidential unless
she has reasonable doubt concerning the safety of the client or others. To encourage
client autonomy, self-help and the attainment of therapy goals. To review the therapeutic
work and the client-therapist relationship regularly. In the unlikely event of the
psychologist cancelling the appointment, an alternative appointment will be offered to
the client. To keep in communication with the client as and when required.
Client responsibilities: To attend punctually. Payment can be made via bank transfer,
card payment (Visa or MasterCard) or Paypal. To give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice
when cancelling/changing an appointment (or the full fee becomes payable). To actively
work towards therapy goals. keep in communication with the Psychologist as and when
required.
